The East Border Region stretches from the lakes of Monaghan in the West to the coastline of the Ards peninsula in the East, through the majestic Mountains of Mourne to the Southern Shores of Lough Neagh, from the fishing village of Donaghadee through to the cathedral town of Drogheda and the Hill of Tara in Meath and enjoys a pivotal location at the centre of the Dublin-Belfast economic corridor.


East Border Region

The East Border Region Committee (EBRC) is a Local Authority led organisation which comprises ten Local Authorities namely; Newry and Mourne, Down and Banbridge District Councils, Armagh City and District Council, Craigavon, Ards and North Down Borough Councils in Northern Ireland and Louth, Monaghan and Meath County Councils in the Republic Of Ireland.
