EBR host successful Members Conference

East Border Region held a two day Members Conference on 4th & 5th July in the Nuremore Hotel, Carrickmacross.

The two day Conference which was attended by over 70 delegates focussed on strategic planning for the next round of EU Structural Funds - Territorial Co-operation 2007-2013.

Delegates discussed the potential for East Border Region to enhance its role in the new Programme due its successful implementation of the current programme. Increased involvement in other Funding avenues were also explored such Peace III, National Development Plan etc in addition to increased involvement with the North South Ministerial Council.
