Interreg IIIA Partnership showcase success of funded projects

27 June 2007

Since 2003 the East Border Region Committee has enjoyed a key role as an implementing agent for the EU Structural Funds. The East Border Region Interreg IIIA Partnership which consists of A 50/50 partnership between elected representatives and social partners is currently jointly responsible with its counterpart organisations for the delivery of €53.9 million of Interreg IIIA funds and is recognised at all levels as being at the forefront of regional cross border economic development.

As we are nearing the end of the Interreg IIIA Programme the EBR Interreg IIIA Partnership decided that an innovative and exciting way of illustrating the successful allocation of funds, the diversity of the allocation and the practical ways in which the funding had been utilising was to produce a promotional DVD. The DVD has been created in conjunction with 6 project promoters however imagery from all 35 funded projects is incorporated
